Two hands and sub dial are driven by Shinola's Argonite 1069 high-accuracy quartz movement. Double-domed sapphire crystal protects the timepiece from scratches throughout lifetime of wear.

Movement
Argonite 1069 Quartz
Argonite is the first movement we built in Detroit. We assemble every movement in our Detroit factory from Swiss and imported parts. Argonite is the name given to any movement completely assembled and tested in our factory, housed in the historic Argonaut Building. The number that follows is from Ronda, our partner and Swiss movement supplier.

It All Started With Runwell
The very first serialized Runwell watch was hand-assembled in our Detroit factory in 2012. The debut limited-edition series of 2,500 pieces sold out in just two weeks. We've assembled over one million watches since.
