With a background in making theater costumes, Katie O. creates the finished sample products for our leather collection, which includes a lot of trial and error and a much needed go-with-the-flow attitude.
Katie has been seamstress of Shinola leather goods for nearly a year, and her passion for sewing is always present in her life, from the clothes she makes for herself—she’s currently making her own wedding dress—to the handmade leather journals, bags and accessories she helps craft in our Detroit leather factory. We couldn’t ask for anyone better to bring our men’s and women’s leather designs to life.
