10 years ago, in the repurposed raw space of Detroit’s historic Argonaut Building, we built our very first watch. We set out with a simple vision: to make timeless, quality goods that last. Since then, we’ve perfected our art of craftsmanship with a catalog of exceptional products that reflect our values—and a select few have emerged as Shinola crown jewels. Although diverse in form and function, they all embody great design grounded by purpose and touched with the ingenious.

In March of 2013, the first serial number was inscribed on a Runwell caseback in our Detroit factory.
