#LoveMyCity Waikiki with Maurice Berbano

BY Taylor Rebhan

Aloha from Waikiki! Our newest store opened here last week and we couldn’t be more excited to get out and explore Hawaii. We asked local photographer Maurice Berbano to share some of his favorite spots around town and show us why this is considered one of the most beautiful places on Earth. #LoveMyCity

Left, At Wa’ahila Ridge: “This place is notoriously known as “Narnia”, and here you can find many locals and tourists alike either doing the hike or just wanting a different scene to relax.”

Arvo: “The best place to grab a quick snack! Whether it be a coffee or a small dish — Arvo is just a 10 minute drive from Waikiki, and is located in the ever-growing, creative community of Kakaako.”

St. Louis Heights: “This is a fun drive and one of the best spots to go to when wanting to stay in town, yet wanting to get away from the traffic.”

The Royal Hawaiian: “The staple of Waikiki, or Hawai’i in general! Although traffic and parking may be hectic, whether it be coming to relax or play tourist (if you’re a local) — Waikiki is always a fun place to be at.”

Left, Diamond Head Beach: “If you want to get away from the traffic for a bit, this is definitely the place to go. It’s a two minute drive from the Health bar and a quick five minute drive from Waikiki. This is a pretty well known surf-spot for locals, especially those who are just willing to give it a try. The view is amazing from here, even from the lookout!”

Right, Diamond Head Cove Health Bar: “Hawaii is known for it’s food, and I personally think one of the best dishes we serve here are our acai bowls. Sure, it may be served elsewhere in the world, but as an avid traveler who’s also a major foodie, Hawaii has the best acai bowls — the Health Bar has one of the best on the island, and it’s right on the outskirts of Waikiki!”
