Introducing The Petoskey Stone Collection

BY Taylor Rebhan

The Petoskey stone is a unique fossilized rock found exclusively along the shores of Lake Michigan. Millions of years and ice ages ago, Michigan was covered with warm sea water and living coral, which eventually turned into the petrified Petoskey stones found today. Hard to spot and very collectible, the legend of these stones have made them natural treasures.

There’s nothing better than finding your first Petoskey stone of the season while beachcombing along the northern Michigan shoreline. For this special collection, we hand-polished authentic stones to uncover their ancient beauty and then placed them inside both the iconic Cass and Canfield timepieces. Discover both versions below.

The Cass 28mm: Powered by an Argonite 1062 movement, this 28mm special edition watch features a Heather Gray leather strap, a vintage square buckle, and a polished stainless case. Each stone is unique and may differ from the image shown.

The Canfield 38mm: Powered by an Argonite 713 movement, this 38mm special edition watch features a Black leather strap, a vintage square buckle, and a stainless steel case with polished PVD Gold plating.
