Lowercase Ace Sunglasses
Throwing Shades.
Named for the underground newspaper that fiercely rivaled the Village Voice in early 1970’s NYC, the Ace is an oversized, thick frame that takes cues from a 1960s Michael Caine. Punchy and fun, stylish and elegant.
Lowercase founder Gerard Masci travelled across the globe to learn the skill trade of handmade glasses. Together with partner Brian Vallario, they built a US-based eyewear brand from the ground up—one with a product second to none in quality and design. It’s a story we relate to, and a product we can get behind.
Every Lowercase frame is thoughtfully handmade in NYC at their Brooklyn Army Terminal workshop by a small team of craftsmen and designers.
