The Mooncraft Clock

Created to accompany the Shinola Mooncraft Monster: Apollo 11 limited-edition watch and celebrate Detroit’s contributions to the Apollo Moon Missions, the Mooncraft Wall Clock proudly features a custom piece by interdisciplinary cosmic artist and Detroit native Dalia Reyes. 
 

A beautifully textured and reflective moon map is the center of this celestial piece. Each moon is carefully hand-painted with silver foil by the artist. No two are exactly alike. And limited to just 50 pieces, this is truly an heirloom-worthy piece in any collection. 

The matte black dial and case, dark as the night sky, highlight the silver hour and minute hands—painted with C1 lume to glow in the dark—and the pop of red on the second hand. A stamp on the dial designates the number out of 50. 

Hung on the wall or nestled in its black oak stand, this 14” clock is a reminder that when it comes to what humankind can accomplish, the sky isn’t the limit—it’s simply the beginning.
