Ceramic and Brass Oil Diffuser

Experience the Shinola Hotel’s iconic ambiance in any space. This Oil Diffuser conjures the welcoming warmth of our lobby on a chilly evening, where the smell of a wood-burning fireplace comingles with our signature scent.  

Designed in Detroit, the Oil Diffuser features three components: a brass lid with oil carrier, a handcrafted porcelain base, and a standard tealight. The lid, made from weighty solid brass, is thoughtfully crafted with a reservoir for holding our Hotel oil blend. The base is cast in Brooklyn in collaboration with Oxum NYC. Inspired by the timeless beauty of terracotta clay but rendered in English porcelain for added strength, its sculpted contour cradles the provided tealight, which, when lit, releases the oil’s fragrance into the surrounding room.  

Manufactured in a small batch, the Oil Diffuser embodies everything we stand for—craft, quality and artful utility that inspires with every use. 

Take Good Care: 

Lid: Clean with warm water and a mild dish soap. Dry immediately. 

Ceramic Base: Clean with a soft, dry cloth to remove debris.
